Breast symmetrizationThe contralateral symmetrization to the reconstructed breast is a procedure performed in the healthy breast after breast reconstruction with the aim of having both breasts being as symmetrical as possible in shape and size.

The most suitable moment for the symmetrization is considered to be about six months time after reconstruction, when the new breast has already reached its final morphology.

At the Breast Pathology Unit of Dr. Morales we combine reduction techniques, lifting and breast augmentation to get both breasts, both the one rebuilt as the healthy one, similar as possible, in shape, height and tissue distribution.
