Radical mastectomy with sentinel node biopsy or axillary dissectionThere are some cases where due to the age of the patient,or the extent of the injury or multifocality /multicentricity, or medical contraindication to the subsequent radiation therapy, or even by the express wish of the patient, a radical mutilating surgery is abslotulely necessary.

In some of these cases, however, the immediate or deferred breast reconstruction will be provided, as appropriate in each case.
