Gynecomastia is the most common pathology in the male breast disease. It is the development of abnormally large breasts in men, due to excessive growth of breast tissue.
Gynecomastia causes serious psychological disorders and if it remains after puberty, the best treatment for breast reduction in men is a surgical excision.
There are cases where gynecomastia is aggravated by the accumulation of fat, in addition to increasing the breast itself. This is called lipomastia and it is also treated with excision or liposuction.
